![]() It's just the rest of the group doesn't stack up. I agree, though, that the idea cost is great. Better than spending 2,800 admin points on what amounts to a convenience! That's fine and dandy, but it's often just fine to let revolts pop and kill them. Years of separatism? Okay, how about 20% morale? Just kill the rebels when they come, stabilize after a bit.īasically, humanist, in its current form, helps prevent revolts. With religious, you have similar benefits (Converting everything to your faith helps with unrest, and so does stability cost), and you have access to excellent policies. The unrest is nice, but again, if you get a good enough army, rebels aren't an issue, you just kill them.Ĭompare this to religious. You get a rebellion or two while the separatism is an issue, so what? Go out and stomp the rebels, they won't come back in all likelihood. The years of separatism aren't that useful once you get established. ![]() For the early game, sure, maybe, but even then, other idea groups give more benefits. In multiplayer, you probably won't be directly conquering all that much land and blobbing out other players will stop you, or you'll just not be able to do it due to aggressive expansion. These are all decent points, yeah, but what you need to consider is something called relative power.
